Good news. I received my upgraded poolbot this past weekend that was a promised replacement! The paperwork shows a quality inspection in late March but it just arrived…not sure why. I thought for sure I wasn’t going to receive one since the company seems to be no longer replying to emails. However, this gives me hope…Hopefully others in this forum also receive theirs shortly.
I sent email to Smororbot on 29 MAY and have not heard back since. I also called their 888 number and get the voice mail service. Hope they are still in Business, robot died again. Need replacement.
The last contact I had with them was early march when my 3rd bot failed …first try after winter storage. At that time, they replied quickly and offered refund or new not…obviously I chose
New bot. She said it would ship in a month or so…never heard anything else. I tried reaching out same as you…no response at all. Numerous tries…I was about to make a purchase of another manufacturer robot and out of the blue it appeared. No info at all…totally shocking. It looks exactly the same as the previous model and not sure the algorithm is really improved but I think they improved the water proofing. I have run it a lot since receiving it and no issues…
I posted my surprise on their site - and it took a while for the moderator to approve it…
Not sure if their status but they are still advertising a new model on website.
That is very interesting, Dave. On a whim, I phoned their customer support number 1-888-482-4564 and an Asian lady answered and passed the phone to an Asian man. There were slight “household” noises in the background. They confirmed that the company is still operating, and developing at least one new product to be released next year. They are still supporting existing products. They have recently hired a new “support girl” who will be active on the forums “soon”.
So, that was very encouraging! I suspect I was speaking to the owner or another senior company employee. They were very very nice, and repeatedly reassured me that the company is still operating, still producing new products, and will have their new support person on the forums soon.
Fingers crossed that we see more communication soon!
Buenos días, yo también mi aparato ha dejado de funcionar, mandé un mail pero nadie me ha dado una solución, no se enciende ninguna luz del aparato después de tenerlo todo el día cargando.
Necesitaría saber como solucionar el problema porque estamos aquí en verano y necesito el aparato para limpiar la piscina.
