My robot does not work at all

My robot stops working and/or will work intermittently. The indicator light will light up and sometimes will not. I once found it under the pool upside down. Now these lights just on when charging. Will not work and even if I turn it on the lights stay the same.

Hi there,

Glad to receive your feedback. Please don’t worry, your Smorobot is under warranty.

In this case, please don’t charge and use the robot again.

With the required visual proof, you’ll have options to replace or return it. Find more details below.

  • Replacement: If you like our robot and want to replace it with the upgraded model. I’ll just need your Amazon order#, the serial number of the unit (you can easily find it on the black tank after removing the filter basket). We’d like to send you a full refund and certain coupon for you to place a new order at the same cost as the old one.

If you do not want to wait and want to return, we’d love to offer a refund:

  • Return and refund: With valid product defect claim, we can offer a partial refund up to 60% of the payment for orders past the return window. If it’s still within the return window, please submit a request on Amazon, then you will receive the return label. We will cover for the shipping fee.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,
Rosalina

Hi, My Smorobot X11 is no longer charging. Can I get a replacement and if so what do I need to do? I can send you my Amazon Order Number and Serial Number if you need it. But I rather not post it to an open forum.

Continuing the discussion from My robot does not work at all:

Hi Rosalina! I had an issue in November and you were super helpful! My replacement robot came a few months ago but I didn’t remove it from the box for a while as it was winter when it arrived. I started using it about 3 weeks ago and it has been amazing! Thank you! But, it now seems ‘dead’. It won’t turn on and when I plug it in to charge, no lights come on. Is there a reset or something I could perform? Really amazing robot, but I wish it would work consistently. Thanks for your help!!

I have the exact same issue. I got it out and charged it up. It ran once and now seems ‘dead’. This is also my second unit…
